I hiked with Michael Sbihli from church and his friend Jon. We drove down to Upland leaving our house at 5:30am to make it on the trail at 7:30. At about 2.5 miles on the trail we met a wonderful young married couple that they were from Greg Laurie’s church and come to find out, the wife had played in Worship with my worship leader Dwayne Clark. We spent the rest of the hike with this couple. TJ the husband talked to me during the middle (hardest) part. That was nice, because I could take the focus off the hiking and making it seem not so hard and long.
This was a long day. About 10 hours of hiking. My hips were talking to me, but did their job.
